This is gold! Can you clarify me 2 things, please?
1 - Aren't these: "best|vs|review|alternative|top|comparison" more informational (evaluation) terms? Aren't commercial keywords more related to "buy"?
"refillable sunscreen" and "zero waste sunblock" (high commercial intent). Are these commercial terms?
2 - Are we talking about two different LP?One for one time purchase and another one for subscription? I'm asking this to understand how we can setup multiple conversion windows. We can't right?
Commercial intent means the user is researching before buying, like looking to compare products, read reviews, or gather purchase information, something like "best eco friendly skincare brands 2025" or "organic face serum reviews"
For navigational intent means the user wants to find a specific website or page. Searching for a particular brand or company they already know, like "Herbivore Botanicals website" or "The Ordinary login"
Transactional intent means the user is ready to purchase, has hiigh purchase intent, looking to buy now and it sounds like "buy organic vitamin C serum" or "eco friendly moisturizer discount code"
For informational intent the user wants to learn something and they are seeking knowledge or answers to questions like: "what ingredients to avoid in skincare" or "how to build sustainable skincare routine"
But I will tell you that you have to really understand your business, content and the search patterns to define the intent to make sense for what you do, from my experience intent is very different from SaaS to DTC, or from hospitality to SaaS or to DTC.
Oh ok, there's a difference between commercial and transactional. I thought like evaluation intent (commercial) and transactional intent (purchase). Got it.
